Jewish Wroclaw is an original project of Urszula Rybicka which aims to present the history of Jews and their contribution to the development of the city from the beginning of the 19th century to the present day. Promoting, commemorating, and preserving Jewish history and culture is the core mission of the Żydoteka Foundation established by Urszula Rybicka. Since its founding in 2021 in Wrocław, the foundation has quickly become one of the leading organizations in the field of Jewish heritage, organizing dozens of educational events each year. Żydoteka promotes history and culture, with a particular focus on Jewish literature and the Jewish history of Wrocław. Since 2025, the foundation has been implementing a new educational project titled Jewish Lower Silesia. All of its initiatives are driven by the hope that growing awareness of the significant contributions of Jewish communities to the development of both the city and the country can foster greater tolerance and help eliminate prejudice.
